Fantastic $30 Map-Making Humble Bundle Represents a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream

Following a brief run earlier this year, this cartography software collection has returned for a limited time available through early December. Hailed as an extensive collection of mapping tools created by ProFantasy Software throughout their history, the complete package is valued at over $1,300. And there are three different bundles offered in this deal.

The Main Attraction

The big draw is definitely a lifetime license to the CC3+ software, a professional-grade mapping application that can be used to generate various types including fantasy overworld maps, smaller regional maps, urban layouts, and, perhaps most importantly, tactical combat environments.

Package Levels

Basic Package

The most affordable option, starting at just one dollar, includes only four from the thirty-nine available products: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Source Maps: Castles!, and Source Maps: Cities!. This one's only for cartographers who already have CC3+, yet it provides new fantasy symbol styles for landscape mapping, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens for use in virtual tabletops, more than two dozen top-down castle layouts with 470 associated map tokens, eight complete urban centers, plus seventy-plus building interiors.

Intermediate Package

The eight-product collection starting at fifteen dollars is where things get more interesting through inclusion of permanent CC3+ access, the first Annual volume, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. The Annual represents the yearly bundle from the company's ongoing subscription program featuring a variety CC3+ add-ons including map packs and various other tools. Isometric Cities lets you display cities with an extra dimension using angled views from all sides. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping is a 760-page for beginners and "power users" alike, packed with guidance and instructions covering cartography techniques.

Every volume of Cartographer's Annual come with this bundle, alongside a slew of additional tools and content enabling creators to design entire planets or galaxies, or focus exclusively on classic fantasy realm creation: combat arenas, dungeons, urban centers, and land masses in multiple viewpoints. Users can also create character illustrations. For $30 as opposed to $15, the full bundle offers tremendous value, particularly for mappers who have only the annual CC3+ license and want to upgrade to lifetime. But it's obviously more advantageous for cartography beginners since it includes the beginners' tutorials to help you get started. The sole limitation though you can redeem the deal across platforms, the applications only function with Windows systems.

Philanthropic Aspect

As with other Humble Bundles, a portion of each sale goes to benefit a nonprofit. For this one, that's Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally through education, health care, and emergency relief.
